Sailboat

Hello again,
Nate has a new toy. A 27 ft sailboat. So now with all of his free time that he didn't really have before he will be spending of fixing up a sailboat. Mainly just the interior needs to be fixed up on it but his partner (other half owner) is a carpenter. His name is Brian. Brian has a son Coles age and a wife. So kids have fun while wives watch and big boys work. Everybody is happy. Nate will put some pic on the blog later.

Potty Training

Hello
Well for the last two days we have been potty training the twins. First day no accidents. Today Tristin had one accident. Tori, even with a diaper on, has had no accidents. Carson was sick this morning. After I cleaned everywhere twice, I finally had a calm evening. I felt like I just got one room clean when a kid would come by and mess it up just as fast as I walked into another room. I called Nate home for help. When he arrived I just got things under control. What a day! It rained this afternoon for a couple of hours and we had flood warnings. But for once it didn't seem to flood on the campground.

Nate is in charge of keeping the pool clean. He has decided that it is a challenge with all of the wind and dust.

Nothing else too new here. I am just hoping by the end of the week I will have at least one kid potty trained and the other close behind!!! For the record, Carson is feeling better this afternoon. We had crawfish for supper with mac and cheese at the twins request. Which I have to say is adorable listening to the twins saying "mac and cheese" . I made Tori say it 50 times just because it was so cute!!
I hope to post pictures soon! Take care everyone!

Life in New Orleans

Hello,
We have been very busy working. Nate takes care of the outside work and I take care of most of the office work. We work all day and Nate fishes at night. We have gone to Gulf Port MS a couple of times to the beach on the Gulf of Mexico. We have seen a lot of different fish. One of the exciting ones was a dead jellyfish. We have had quite the experience with fire ants. I think I am allergic to them. It took 2 weeks to get moved into our home. We have met many people from all around the world. Cole and Carson have made a couple of friends. Cole has learned how to drive the golf cart. We take the ferry at least once a week. On the way home we take the bridge and the kids say how it looks like we are in New York. We are finally done with home school. We are still trying to find schools for the boys and maybe preschool for the twins. We walk around the campground usually twice a week. So far we are adjusting to the heat just fine. But when it rains, it pours, it floods!! Grandma Crystal, Mom, and kids have walked the French Quarter a couple of times. All four kids love it! Today the big boys and I baked cookies and made blue frosting. I think Tristin wore more than he ate! We miss everybody back home but we hope you are all doing well. So far we like where we are but every place has it ups and downs. One thing that will shock everyone is Nate bought shorts and tennis shoes and hasn't wore jeans or boots in weeks! Take care everyone
Love
